Metaspec manufactures test specimens used in testing by military specification MIL-C-83933, which covers four grades of solvent dispersed corrosion preventive compounds. These compounds are intended for motor vehicles and designed for cold application.

The test panels used in §4.6.3, §4.6.5, §4.6.6, §4.6.7, §4.6.8, §4.6.9, §4.7.4, §4.7.5 and §4.8 are treated and tested in different ways in the laboratory, but are the same size and made from the same material.
