MIL-C-83933 Test Panels

Steel test panels used in testing by military specification MIL-C-83933 (Corrosion Preventive Compounds - Cold Application for Motor Vehicles). These test panels are used in the following tests: film characteristics, water displacement, fire resistance, creep tendencies, high temperature flow characteristics, transparency, low temperature flexibility, salt water immersion, and condition to touch. 
Each steel test panel is 3" x 6" x 0.025", except for the modified test panel used in the low temperature flexibility test (§4.7.4), which is 3" x 6" x 0.036". These test panels are cut to size, deburred, solvent cleaned, and inspected for corrosion or deep scratches. The panels have an as rolled finish (are not polished or sand blasted).
