MIL-PRF-17672 Test Specimens

Metaspec manufactures test specimens required by military specification MIL-PRF-17672, which covers petroleum base hydraulic fluids used in shipboard hydraulic systems and in other applications where a high-grade hydraulic fluid with anti-corrosion and antioxidant properties is required. This hydraulic fluid is not an extreme pressure (EP) or anti-wear (AW) fluid and should not be used in systems where a fire-resistant fluid is required.
The following is a list of tests in Specification MIL-PRF-17672 that require test specimens. Some of these tests may be customized for this specification. Click on the test method number for more information about specimens required for each test.
