Zamak 3 Zinc Test Specimens

Metaspec makes test specimens, panels, coupons, and catalysts from Zamak 3 (also known as Zinc Alloy 3 or ASTM AG40A). Zamak 3 is a die casting alloy and is widely used in North America. Cast zinc test specimens are cut or machined to size, surface ground and then polished to the desired surface finish. Due to the nature of cast zinc, these panels will have small visible voids and similar surface defects. Some standard sizes include 1/2" x 3", 1" x 2", and 1" x 1". Customized test specimens are available on request.
