NSF CIAS Metal Test Coupon Set

Metal test coupons used in testing by NSF Chemical Inhibitor Approval Scheme (CIAS) standard specification for the performance of chemical inhibitors used in domestic hot water central heating systems. The test coupons are 50mm x 25mm x 1.5-1.6mm (approximately 1.9" x 1" x 0.062") and have a 7.5mm center hole. The coupons have a glass bead blasted finish, and are free from coarse scratches, corrosion, and pits. The test requires the test coupons to be assembled together on a brass bar with insulating sleeve and brass nuts, with insulating spacers between each test coupon. The test coupon assembly includes two mild steel test coupons and one each of the other metal test coupons, as listed:
