MIL-STD-3010 §5.3.2 (Method 3005) Corrosion Test Panels

SAE 1010 steel test panels used in testing by MIL-STD-3010 §5.3.2 Test Method 3005 (Contact Corrosivity). This test is designed to measure the corrosion-prevention effectiveness of packaging materials. Each test panel is 2" x 4" x 1/8", and is surface ground and polished to 240 grit. This specification supersedes FED-STD-101. Modified test panels for customized versions of this test method are available on request.
