MIL-PRF-63460 §4.3.1 Corrosion Test Coupons

Corrosion test coupons for testing by military specification MIL-PRF-63460 §4.3.1 (Corrosion Production Test). This test requires metal coupons made from zinc, aluminum, brass, steel, copper, magnesium, and cadmium. Each test coupon is 6.4mm x 25mm x 51mm (1/4" x 1" x 2"). The test coupons are polished before testing and are then submerged in the test lubricant as shown in Figure 1 for the corrosion production test.
