MIL-P-27418 Test Specimens

Separate test specimens used in quality control testing by MIL-P-27418 §4.2 (Soft Nickel Plating, Electrodeposited, Sulfamate Bath). These separate test specimens are used in plating quality testing when the plated parts are of a shape, size, or form that doesn't allow testing per the methods outlined MIL-P-27418. Each specimen is made from the same base metal as the plated parts, and is 1" x 4" x 0.04".
