MIL-C-40084 §4.3.4.4.5 Corrosion Immersion Test Specimens

Metal test specimens used in testing by military specification MIL-C-40084 §4.3.4.4.5 (Corrosion Immersion Test). These test specimens are made from aluminum, copper, steel, zinc, cadmium-plated steel, and zinc phosphate coated steel. Each test specimen is 1" x 2" x 1/4" and is polished 280 grit AO and then cleaned, except for the cadmium plated and zinc phosphate coated steel specimens, which are cleaned but not polished. The test specimens are individually packaged and traceable to the original material.
