NACE TM0169/G31 Corrosion Test Specimens

Metal test specimens that conform to NACE TM0169 / ASTM G31 (Laboratory Immersion Corrosion Testing of Metals). These specimens may be made from a variety of metal alloys. The recommended specimen sizes are 0.75" x 2" x 1/8" (with or without a mounting hole) or circular specimens with a 1.5" diameter, 1/18" thick, and with a 5/16"-7/16" center hole.  Metaspec provides these specimens with an as rolled or lightly polished surface finish. Final polishing and specimen prep is done in the laboratory before testing. Customized test specimens for modified versions of this test method are available on request.
