ASTM G185 RCE Cylinder Specimens

RCE cylinder specimens used in testing by ASTM G185 (Evaluating and Qualifying Oil Field and Refinery Corrosion Inhibitors Using the Rotating Cylinder Electrode - RCE). Each RCE cylinder specimen is polished to 150 grit. RCE cylinder specimens can be made from a variety of different alloys, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and nickel alloys.
 
These RCE cylinder specimens are similar to the RCE cylinder inserts used in NACE 08629.
