ASTM D2794 Impact Test Panels

Steel panels used in testing coatings by ASTM D2794 (Resistance of Organic Coatings to the Effects of Rapid Deformation - Impact). These panels are made from 24 gauge steel, and are available in several standard sizes, including 3" x 6" and 4" x 6". The test panels are coated before the impact test; the coating itself depends on what coating is being evaluated. Metaspec provides these test panels with a pre-cleaned as-rolled surface finish. Other surface finishes, including conversion coatings, are available on request (minimum order quantities may apply).
