ASTM C794 Adhesion-in-Peel Test Specimens

Test specimens used in ASTM C794 (Adhesion-in-Peel of Elastomeric Joint Sealants). These test specimens are used to determine the peel properties of a cured-in-place elastomeric joint sealant used in building construction. The test specimen substrate may be aluminum, mortar (cement), glass, or another material suitable for the sealant's end-use application. The specimen size is 3" x 6" (thickness varies depending on the material). Customized test specimens for modified versions of this test are available on request.
