API RP 5L2 Test Panels

Steel and glass test panels used in performance testing by API Recommended Practice 5L2 (Internal Coating of Line Pipe for Non-corrosive Gas Transmission Service). API RP 5L2 describes two different test panels: 
 
Mild carbon steel panel, 3" x 6" x 0.032", sand blasted to NACE No. 1 white metal finish
Available with as-rolled or sand blasted surface finish
Glass panel (also called glass slides), 1" x 3" x 1/4", frosted (sand blasted) on one side
Available with clear or frosted finish
 
Customized test panels are available on request.
