FTM 5322 Bimetallic Couple Test Specimen

Test specimens used in FTM 5322 bimetallic couple corrosion testing (also called a galvanic corrosion test). The bimetallic couple is a brass clip fitted to a steel disk that has a 1" diameter and is 1/2" to 1" thick and ground on one side. 
 
Note that this bimetallic couple can also be used for testing by ASTM D6547.
 
These test specimens are available in other materials and alloys for modified versions of this test method on request.
